Atomic Mass and Atomic Number of Elements (Periodic Table)

Atomic Mass and Atomic Number of Elements
Periodic Table With Atomic Mass and Atomic Number/Wikimedia
An element can be defined as the species of atom having the same number of protons in their nuclei. Each element is represented by a symbol, made up of one or two alphabets. For example, an Carbon atom is represented by "C".

The number of proton in a nuclei is known as the atomic number whereas atomic mass is the mass of an atom and is numerically equivalent to the number of protons and neutrons in the atomic nuclei.
