Basava Puraskara (Karnataka Civilian Award)
Basava Puraskara is an annual National award conferred by the State Government of Karnataka. It is presented to the individual for his or her contribution in social reforms and work for bringing religious harmony.

The award is first give in 2000 to co-founder of Atheist Centre, Saraswathi Gora. Lastly, it was given to eminent journalist Patil Puttapa in 2017.

The award consists cash prize of 10 lakh rupee, a memento, and a citation.
