Union Minister of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare and Tribal Affairs, Arjun Munda, inaugurated the Agriculture Integrated Command and Control Center at Krishi Bhawan, Delhi, on March 8, 2024. This groundbreaking initiative aims to leverage digital technology to empower farmers across the nation, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of fostering self-reliance among farmers.

The center's primary objective is to provide farmers with real-time information about their farms and identify challenges faced by the agriculture sector. By analyzing this data, the center can offer solutions to farmers’ problems, enhance their capacity, and ultimately improve crop yields, thereby bolstering the agriculture sector.

Integrated Command and Control Centres (ICCCs) are being established in 100 cities under the Smart Cities Mission (SCM), but this newly launched center is exclusively dedicated to agriculture.
