The Award includes a citation, bronze statue of Guru Vashista, and a cash prize of one lakh rupee.
The first prize- awarding trainers include Mr. Pokarmal (Athletics), and Mr. Ramdev Sharma (Cycling) who were honoured by this award in 1985-86.
In 2018, Mahesh Kumar Ranga (Cycling), and Ramesh Singh (Rollball) won the prestigious award.
These awards are given on the same day as of Maharana Pratap Award.
